Families,

As we head into the final week of October, we want to thank our students, families, and staff for their continued dedication to making LIA a great place to learn and grow.

We continue to focus on strong academics, positive behavior, and creating a school environment where every student feels supported and successful.

As a reminder, regular attendance matters! Every school day provides opportunities for learning, growth, and connection.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let's finish October strong!

Mr. Manuel Montano

Principal

Lochbuie Intermediate Academy

On Monday, October 26, Lochbuie Intermediate Academy is going PINK!

We invite all students and staff to wear pink as we come together to raise awareness, show support, and honor those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

This is an opportunity for our Lion community to stand together and remind those facing breast cancer that they have our support.

Let's fill the halls of LIA with pink and show what Lion PRIDE is all about!

Together, we are stronger! 🩷

Catalog fundraiser is almost over. Everything is due on Wednesday October 14 by the end of the school day. There is no school on Friday October 16 and all the paper orders will be sent out that day. Make sure your student(s) paper orders are turned in on Oct. 14. No late orders will be accepted. Please make sure you are helping your student(s) in registering and selling the products. Please visit www.ShopFund.com to make sure your student gets registered. For Lochbuie students use code B37JX and Meadow Ridge students use code GJWYL

This fundraiser helps to fund field trips. The more money raised, the more money the kids get for field trips and other things the teacher deems necessary to make sure your student has the best learning experience they can give them. If some grades are not making the progress we are looking for, we may need to take another look at how we are spreading out the funds.

Trunk or Treat is coming up soon. October 30 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Lochbuie Intermediate Academy in the parking lot. We are still looking for people to decorate their trunks. Sign up at the link below. We are also holding a bake sale for 8th grade to help with their continuation event in May. Sign up if you would like to donate some baked goodies.

Our next PTO meeting is Tuesday October 13 at 3:45. This will be held at Lochbuie Intermediate Academy in the Library. Join us virtually or in person.

Our next food fundraiser is coming up on October 28 at Panda Express. This is a virtual fundraiser where you place your order on line for store pick up. This is a unique event as anyone can order from Panda Express and as long as they use our code 9016756, their order counts towards our sales. 28% of the purchase goes to us to support the students. Please see the flyer for more information.

Make sure you follow us for all up to date information on upcoming fundraisers, food fundraisers and events hosted by the PTO.
